Care for Francisco, 81: help cover a carer and medication in Mar del Plata
Francisco can't afford the care He needs after a heart attack; we're asking for $250.

I'm caring for me, who's 81. After a heart attack Francisco can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Francisco desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after him, but we need a part-time carer.
Francisco worked all of his life as a nurse, and raised 5 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for six months will make a huge difference.
The carer will be employed through a registered agency and paid directly. I'll share the agency invoices.
Where the $250 goes:
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $60
• Medication and prescriptions: $110
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $80
I hope life is good to you.

Good news. Because of your gifts ($205 in total) I made the first payment toward medication and prescriptions. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

Hope it all works out, Francisco. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. After 30 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
wishing you peace. Shared it with a few friends. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. God bless.
