Care for Bridget, 85: help cover a carer and medication in Dublin

I'm caring for my mother, who's 85. After the death of her spouse Bridget can no longer manage alone. A nursing home would cost far more than we have, and Bridget desperately wants to stay at home.
I work 25 hours a week and have cut back to look after her, but we need a part-time carer.
Bridget worked all of her life as a schoolteacher, and raised 3 children. Now we're trying to give some of that care back.
Medication, a hospital bed and a carer for eight months will make a huge difference.
Funds cover the carer's wages, medicines, a hospital bed rental and incontinence supplies.
Where the $3,850 goes:
• Part-time carer (eight months): $2,750
• Medication and prescriptions: $400
• Hospital bed and mattress rental: $185
• Mobility aids and bathroom adaptations: $515
