Camila is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a master's in public health at Coyoacán State College, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a barista to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $700.
The registrar has said Camila can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Camila has a 3.8 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Camila would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Camila isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $700 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $95
• Textbooks and materials: $130
• Outstanding tuition balance: $475
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

You're not alone. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Coyoacán
Keep going, Pilar. Education changes everything, hope you graduate with honors. I'm in farming myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you!
Keep going. Hope this works out for you. After 17 years in customer support I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care.
