Build a wheelchair ramp for Yong-jun in Anaheim
Yong-jun uses a wheelchair and can't leave the house because of three steps at the door; we need a few hours of carpentry.
๐บ๐ธ Anaheim, California, United States181 views
Yong-jun has used a wheelchair since 2022, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Yong-jun can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate twelve hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Yong-jun's family will cook lunch for the team.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Praying for you, Hyun-woo. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. After 25 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Anaheim
