Build a wheelchair ramp for Weronika in London
Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in London.
🇬🇧 England, United Kingdom811 views
Weronika has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Weronika can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Weronika's family will cook lunch for the team.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Wishing you peace, Julia. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. God bless
Praying for you, Julia. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I went through something like this 6 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best.
Wishing you the best, Julia. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We're a small family in Chattogram but we're thinking of you
Take care, Julia. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Blessings
