Build a wheelchair ramp for Sumbal in Mardan
Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in Mardan.

Sumbal has used a wheelchair since 2025, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Sumbal can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate twelve hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Sumbal's family will cook lunch for the team.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Best of luck. Shared it with a few friends. Greetings from Fez.
Thinking of you. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Wish I lived closer to Dayton so I could bring a meal. Take care
Hope things get better soon. Hope you get there. Put this on a community board in Iztapalapa this morning. Take care.
Rooting for you, Samina. I hope things turn around soon. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor in Wudil donated after I showed her your page.
