Build a wheelchair ramp for Ryan in Manila
Help Ryan regain independence: a simple ramp build.
🇵🇭 Metro Manila, Philippines498 views
Ryan has used a wheelchair since 2022, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Ryan can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate eight hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Ryan's family will cook lunch for the team.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Rooting for you, Zenaida. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. My husband and I read this together.

Keep going, Zenaida. Wishing Ryan a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Sent it to 21 people at work. Greetings from Poitiers
