Build a wheelchair ramp for Rajesh in Surrey
Rajesh uses a wheelchair and can't leave the house because of three steps at the door; we need a few hours of carpentry.

Rajesh has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Rajesh can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Rajesh's family will cook lunch for the team.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

take care, Ashok. I hope things turn around soon. It's not much but it's yours.
Praying for you. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I have a 9 year old who wants to send good wishes too!
I hope things turn around soon. Love from George.
Keep going, Ashok. Shared this with my family. Wish I lived closer to Aberdeen so I could bring a meal. All the best.
