Build a wheelchair ramp for Olivia in Buffalo

Olivia uses a wheelchair and can't leave the house because of three steps at the door; we need a few hours of carpentry.

Olivia has used a wheelchair since 2025, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Olivia can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair. The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two. The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate twelve hours of work. Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Olivia's family will cook lunch for the team. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Good luck, Evelyn. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
