Build a wheelchair ramp for Min-ho in Seoul
Help Min-ho regain independence: a simple ramp build.
๐ฐ๐ท Seoul, South Korea76 views
Min-ho has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Min-ho can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Min-ho's family will cook lunch for the team.
I hope life is good to you.
