Build a wheelchair ramp for Mauricio in Seville
Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in Seville.
🇪🇸 Andalusia, Spain784 views
Mauricio has used a wheelchair since 2024, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Mauricio can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate twelve hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Mauricio's family will cook lunch for the team.
Glad we found this place.

Stay strong, Regina. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
Praying for you, Regina. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Love from Santos.
