Build a wheelchair ramp for Leah in Lexington
Leah uses a wheelchair and can't leave the house because of three steps at the door; we need a few hours of carpentry.

Leah has used a wheelchair since 2025, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Leah can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate eight hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Leah's family will cook lunch for the team.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Thinking of you and your family. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Greetings from Fort Worth.
