Build a wheelchair ramp for Ji-yeon in Suwon

Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in Suwon.

Suwon
Ji-yeon has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Ji-yeon can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair. The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two. The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work. Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Ji-yeon's family will cook lunch for the team. I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
