Build a wheelchair ramp for Isabela in Santarém
Isabela uses a wheelchair and can't leave the house because of three steps at the door; we need a few hours of carpentry.

Isabela has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Isabela can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate eight hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Isabela's family will cook lunch for the team.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Thinking of you. Hope this works out for you. Greetings from Mandeville.
Wishing Isabela a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
Stay strong, Roberto. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Santarém.
