Build a wheelchair ramp for Inès in Nice
Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in Nice.
🇫🇷 Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France1,101 views
Inès has used a wheelchair since 2024, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Inès can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Inès's family will cook lunch for the team.
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
