Build a wheelchair ramp for David in Mombasa
David uses a wheelchair and can't leave the house because of three steps at the door; we need a few hours of carpentry.

David has used a wheelchair since 2025, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment David can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and David's family will cook lunch for the team.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Hope it all works out, Jepkoech. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. It's not much but it's yours. Greetings from Bronx.
