Build a wheelchair ramp for Danylo in Kharkiv
Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in Kharkiv.
🇺🇦 Kharkiv Oblast, Ukraine1,188 views
Danylo has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Danylo can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate ten hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Danylo's family will cook lunch for the team.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Looking forward to the next update. Love from Vigo
Stay strong, Volodymyr. Get well soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected!
