Build a wheelchair ramp for Cristina in Arlington
Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in Arlington.
🇺🇸 Texas, United States741 views
Cristina has used a wheelchair since 2024, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Cristina can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the building-code slope requirement, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate ten hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Cristina's family will cook lunch for the team.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Wishing you the best, Emiliano. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Santos
Good luck, Emiliano. Hope you get there. My neighbor in Saint Petersburg donated after I showed her your page. God bless.
