Build a wheelchair ramp for Budi in Jakarta
Help Budi regain independence: a simple ramp build.
🇮🇩 DKI Jakarta, Indonesia777 views
Budi has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Budi can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate eight hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Budi's family will cook lunch for the team.
I hope life is good to you.

Stay strong, Imam. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
Take care, Imam. Looking forward to the next update. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
Stay strong. Hope you get there. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Duque de Caxias
Shared it with a few friends. We're a small family in Stellenbosch but we're thinking of you. Blessings.
