Build a wheelchair ramp for Autumn in Oakland
Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in Oakland.

Autumn has used a wheelchair since 2025, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Autumn can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate ten hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Autumn's family will cook lunch for the team.
Thank you so much.

Rooting for you. This could happen to any of us. I'll check back for the next update. Take care.
Thinking of you, Elias. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick. My sister had a similar thing happen so this one hit home
