Build a wheelchair ramp for Agus in Magelang
Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in Magelang.

Agus has used a wheelchair since 2023, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Agus can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the local accessibility standard of 1:12 slope, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Agus's family will cook lunch for the team.
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 18 years in teaching I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
keep going, Dimas. Your post was clear and honest. Please keep us posted
You're not alone. Hope you get there. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. God bless.

Thinking of you and your family, Dimas. This could happen to any of us. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. God bless.
