Buddy's a broken leg after a road accident: help with the vet bill

Buddy is my German shepherd of nine years. On 2 June we rushed to the Leicester Emergency Vet Clinic with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,450.
They have stabilized Buddy, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Buddy is more than a pet - Buddy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $150 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Leicester Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Buddy's recovery.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,550
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $570
• Medication and follow-up visits: $130
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $200
