A rota of drivers to the Toronto Kidney Centre would keep Brooks on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Brooks has been on dialysis for 2 years and until recently drove to the Toronto Kidney Centre alone. After surgery on their hand, Brooks can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 18 km each way.
Brooks is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
