Brandon is isolated after a stroke: a call a week would help

No advice needed - just a kind ear and some conversation for 30 minutes a week.

After a stroke, I have been mostly housebound for 6 weeks. My family live far away, and the days can feel very long. I'm not looking for therapy - I've that covered - but for conversation. I'm hoping for someone who can call for about 30 minutes once a week whenever suits us both. I like film, travel stories and poetry, and can listen to anything. This can be from anywhere in the world as long as you speak English. We can arrange the calls through the platform, with email shared only when we're both comfortable. Thanks for even thinking about it. Thanks for being kind about this.

  • Stay strong, Brandon. Hope this works out for you. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of San Diego.

Hang in there, Brandon. Hope you get there. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from São Paulo
