Biology help for Modupe, preparing for the board exam

Looking for a patient biology tutor, 3 hours a week, for 23 weeks.

My younger sister, Modupe, is 12 and in Grade 11. Modupe loves school but biology has been a struggle since the school was closed during the strikes. The board exam is in October. We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Kano or online, for about ten weeks. Modupe is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions. If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in biology, you could change the course of Modupe's year. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.

Hang in there. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Thinking of Kano.
