Biniam can't leave home - help build a ramp
Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in Jimma.

Biniam has used a wheelchair since 2025, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Biniam can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate six hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Biniam's family will cook lunch for the team.
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Wishing you the best, Hanna. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Love from Narayanganj.
Wishing you the best, Hanna. It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 23 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Istanbul.
Sending love, Hanna. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. After 10 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Take care.
