Barasa is isolated after chemotherapy: a call a week would help
Barasa is housebound after chemotherapy and is looking for a friendly, patient person for a weekly call.

After chemotherapy, I have been mostly housebound for 5 weeks. My family live far away, and the days can feel very long. I'm not looking for therapy - I've that covered - but for conversation.
I'm hoping for someone who can call for about 30 minutes once a week whenever suits us both. I like film, travel stories and poetry, and can listen to anything.
This can be from anywhere in the world as long as you speak English. We can arrange the calls through the platform, with email shared only when we're both comfortable.
Thanks for even thinking about it.
Glad we found this place.

I hope things turn around soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best

You're not alone. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Greetings from Kathmandu
Keep going. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 22 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Eldoret.
