Baobab Park needs a repair café workshop - René's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a repair café workshop - we need $750 for materials.
🇫🇷 Boulogne-Billancourt, Île-de-France, France424 views
For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a repair café workshop. This year a group of 20 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Baobab Park, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $750.
It will serve about 148 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $750 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $470
• Safety equipment and signage: $95
• Permits and inspections: $185
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Good luck. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Greetings from Hồ Chí Minh City.
