Scranton
Teresa earned a place in Year 10 at Scranton International School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the robotics course, and a uniform. The family has few resources; the list costs $1,100, which is more than they have. Teresa loves robotics and wants to become an architect. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours. She will take care of everything given and works very hard. I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything. Where the $1,100 goes: • Laptop: $480 • School uniform and shoes: $240 • Textbooks and workbooks: $250 • Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $130 I hope life is good to you.

Updates from Isla

  1. Good news. Because of your gifts ($550 in total) I met with the school supplier and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  2. Wanted to say thank you properly. 36% funded and I made the first payment toward school uniform and shoes.

Hope things get better soon, Isla. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.
