Back to business - Tao's comeback in Hamilton
A sewing studio in Hamilton needs help replacing a cutting table and overlocker after a storm that collapsed the roof.

For nine years I have run a sewing studio in Hamilton. In July, a storm that collapsed the roof took a cutting table and overlocker. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $390
• Initial stock: fabric: $600
• Shop repairs and licensing: $610
Thanks for being kind about this.

Sending strength. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I went through something like this 10 years ago and strangers helped me out
hope it all works out, Tao. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. I'll check back for the next update. God bless.
You're not alone, Tao. Hope this works out for you. Thinking of Hamilton.
thanks for sharing this, Tao. Shared it with a few friends. Don't give up. God bless.
Praying for you, Tao. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
