Back to business - Rotimi's comeback in Lagos
A barbershop in Lagos needs help replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors after the demolition of the market.
🇳🇬 Lagos, Nigeria917 views
For four years I have run a barbershop in Lagos. In July, the demolition of the market took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $350 goes:
• Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $230
• Initial stock: supplies: $65
• Working capital for the first month: $55
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Praying for you. Hope you make a strong comeback. My neighbor in San Diego donated after I showed her your page. Love from San Diego.
Thinking of you and your family. Shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best
