Back to business - Min-ji's comeback in Busan

A flower stall in Busan needs help replacing display cabinets and a cooler after floodwater.

Busan
For twelve years I have run a flower stall in Busan. In November, floodwater took display cabinets and a cooler. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go. Where the $1,650 goes: • Initial stock: seasonal flowers: $250 • Shop repairs and licensing: $350 • Replacing display cabinets and a cooler: $1,050 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Updates from Min-ji

  1. Good news. Because of your gifts ($829 in total) the first invoice got paid this week. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

Sending strength, Min-ji. Small businesses are the heart of Busan. Hope you're open again soon. After 13 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
