Back to business - Lorenzo's comeback in Cartagena
Lorenzo lost a full set of tools to the demolition of the market and needs $800 to reopen a bicycle repair shop and support the family.

For nine years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Cartagena. In August, the demolition of the market took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $800 goes:
• Replacing a full set of tools: $380
• Initial stock: spare parts: $170
• Shop repairs and licensing: $95
• Working capital for the first month: $155
I hope life is good to you.

Updates from Lorenzo
Good news. Because of your gifts ($55 in total) the plan for working capital for the first month is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
