Back to business - Kirit's comeback in Ahmedabad
Kirit lost a full set of tools to a storm that collapsed the roof and needs $600 to reopen a bicycle repair shop and support the family.

For three years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Ahmedabad. In August, a storm that collapsed the roof took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 10 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $600 goes:
• Working capital for the first month: $80
• Replacing a full set of tools: $390
• Shop repairs and licensing: $130
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Best of luck. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't give up. Take care.
