Back to business - Joya's comeback in Pune
Joya has run a barbershop for three years; a long illness and repossession destroyed the equipment, and $350 will put it back on its feet.

For three years I have run a barbershop in Pune. In June, a long illness and repossession took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $350 goes:
• Initial stock: supplies: $50
• Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $170
• Working capital for the first month: $130
Every share and every dollar helps.
Updates from Joya

Best of luck, Joya. Hope you make a strong comeback. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Rockford.
Hope you make a strong comeback. I have a 15 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Blessings.
