Back to business - Ifeoma's comeback in Bonny

Bonny
For three years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Bonny. In September, floodwater took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go. Where the $550 goes: • Replacing a full set of tools: $320 • Initial stock: spare parts: $90 • Shop repairs and licensing: $100 • Working capital for the first month: $40 I hope life is good to you. - Ifeoma

Updates from Ifeoma

  1. Good news. Because of your gifts ($91 in total) the plan for working capital for the first month is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely. - Ifeoma
