Back to business - Faith's comeback in Leeds
A bicycle repair shop in Leeds needs help replacing a full set of tools after a break-in.
🇬🇧 United Kingdom4,733 views
For four years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Leeds. In June, a break-in took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $3,800 goes:
• Replacing a full set of tools: $3,000
• Initial stock: spare parts: $600
• Shop repairs and licensing: $200
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
