Nashik
For three years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Nashik. In August, a fire in the building took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Saturday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go. Where the $350 goes: • Replacing a full set of tools: $165 • Working capital for the first month: $70 • Initial stock: spare parts: $115 You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Updates from Dhanush

  1. Update from Nashik: the plan for working capital for the first month is now scheduled. We're at 40% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us. - Dhanush

  2. Quick update: $70 raised so far (20%). I met with the supplier and confirmed the amounts. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
