Back to business - Allison's comeback in San Diego
A bicycle repair shop in San Diego needs help replacing a full set of tools after a break-in.

For six years I have run a bicycle repair shop in San Diego. In June, a break-in took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $5,150 goes:
• Replacing a full set of tools: $3,400
• Initial stock: spare parts: $670
• Shop repairs and licensing: $730
• Working capital for the first month: $350
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Best of luck, Allison. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best.
