Back to business - Alexandre's comeback in Feira de Santana
A small grocery stall in Feira de Santana needs help replacing a cold-storage unit after a fire in the building.

For twelve years I have run a small grocery stall in Feira de Santana. In September, a fire in the building took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $1,250 goes:
• Replacing a cold-storage unit: $790
• Initial stock: fresh produce: $150
• Shop repairs and licensing: $65
• Working capital for the first month: $245
Thank you so much.

Shared this with my family. Thinking of Feira de Santana.
Wishing you the best, Alexandre. Hope you get there. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of Feira de Santana.
Stay strong, Alexandre. Hope the shop reopens soon. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. God bless.
Best of luck. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from London.
