Back on our feet: Gifty and twin daughters in Kumasi
After my partner leaving, Gifty is raising twin daughters alone and needs $400 to stay afloat for 5 months.

Since my partner leaving in August, I'm now raising twin daughters on my own. I work as a school kitchen assistant, but my income doesn't cover rent, childcare and groceries.
I'm retraining as an electrician in the evenings, which will triple my income by November, but I need to bridge the gap until then.
Some weeks I skip meals so my children can eat. I have never asked anyone for help like this before, and I'm doing it for them.
Once I finish my course, I'll pay it forward.
Every cent is accounted for. I'll share a simple monthly breakdown.
Where the $400 goes:
• Rent top-up: $200
• Groceries and school meals: $105
• Course fees and exam costs: $95
Glad we found this place.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Gifty.
It's all in the list in the story. rent top-up is the big one at $200, I'll post a receipt when it's paid.
hope it all works out, Gifty. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Greetings from Magelang.
