Đạt's colon cancer treatment fund
Đạt is facing colon cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
🇻🇳 Vietnam186 views
Đạt was diagnosed with colon cancer in June. The oncology team at Cầu Giấy University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Đạt is 42, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Cầu Giấy University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,300 goes:
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $115
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $820
• Transport to Cầu Giấy University Hospital: $90
• Household costs while unable to work: $275
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Đạt.
It's all in the list in the story. nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team is the big one at $115, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Appreciate you taking the time.
