Asad is isolated after a stroke: a call a week would help

Asad is housebound after a stroke and is looking for a friendly, patient person for a weekly call.

After a stroke, I have been mostly housebound for 3 weeks. My family live far away, and the days can feel very long. I'm not looking for therapy - I've that covered - but for conversation. I'm hoping for someone who can call for about 30 minutes once a week whenever suits us both. I like music, books and gardening, and can listen to anything. This can be from anywhere in the world as long as you speak English. We can arrange the calls through the platform, with email shared only when we're both comfortable. Thanks for even thinking about it. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
