Arvid can't leave home - help build a ramp
Materials are donated. We need two carpenters and a helper for a weekend in Södertälje.
🇸🇪 Stockholm, Sweden420 views
Arvid has used a wheelchair since 2024, and the house has three steps at the front door and no ramp. At the moment Arvid can only go outside when two neighbors are available to lift the chair.
The materials (treated timber, screws and non-slip surface) have been donated by a local lumberyard. We need a carpenter or two to measure, cut and build, plus a helper or two.
The ramp has to meet the accessibility guideline for gradient, which is why a person with building experience is important. We estimate eight hours of work.
Tools are welcome - saws, drills, spirit levels. We'll provide refreshments, and Arvid's family will cook lunch for the team.

thinking of you and your family. This could happen to any of us. After 17 years in farming I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
