Aravind needs someone who understands: peer support in recovery
Aravind is six months into recovery and would welcome a mentor with lived experience.

I'm six months into recovery from prescription-drug dependence. I attend meetings and see a counselor, but the weeks between meetings are the hardest. I'd love a mentor - someone who has a year or more of recovery and who would be willing to talk once a week.
I'm not looking for a replacement for treatment. I'm looking for someone who understands what a bad Tuesday night feels like.
I'd prefer someone who's happy to do video calls. Any country is fine. I'll be respectful of your time and boundaries, and happy to pay it forward later.

so sorry you're going through this, Aravind. Hope the treatment goes smoothly and recovery is quick.
Gave what I could, wish it was more. We're a small family in Colombo but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Mumbai.
Wishing you the best, Aravind. Hope this works out for you. We're a small family in Juiz de Fora but we're thinking of you.
Hope things get better soon. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Love from Los Angeles.
Best of luck, Aravind. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
