Đào needs three industrial sewing machines to reopen a tailoring shop

Đào has run a tailoring shop for four years; a break-in destroyed the equipment, and $250 will put it back on its feet.

Cầu Giấy
For four years I have run a tailoring shop in Cầu Giấy. In June, a break-in took three industrial sewing machines. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 12 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go. Where the $250 goes: • Shop repairs and licensing: $60 • Initial stock: fabric and thread: $60 • Working capital for the first month: $130 Glad we found this place.

  • Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Đào.

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. shop repairs and licensing comes first ($60) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid.
