Anjali is ten months into recovery and would welcome a mentor with lived experience.

I'm ten months into recovery from alcohol dependence. I attend meetings and see a counselor, but the weeks between meetings are the hardest. I'd love a mentor - someone who has a year or more of recovery and who would be willing to talk once a week. I'm not looking for a replacement for treatment. I'm looking for someone who understands what a bad Tuesday night feels like. I'd prefer someone who's happy to do video calls. Any country is fine. I'll be respectful of your time and boundaries, and happy to pay it forward later. Glad we found this place.

  • Stay strong, Anjali. Shared this with my family. Wish I lived closer to Badagry so I could bring a meal. Love from Ludhiana.

Hope things get better soon, Anjali. It takes guts to ask. Well done.

                            • Wishing you the best. Shared it with a few friends. After 9 years in hospitality I know how hard it's to ask for anything. All the best.
