Ángel's early-stage lung cancer treatment fund
Supporting Ángel through early-stage lung cancer: medication, transport to Granada University Hospital, and living costs while He can't work.
🇪🇸 Spain292 views
Ángel was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in September. The oncology team at Granada University Hospital has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Ángel is 29, worked as a taxi driver until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Granada University Hospital 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $8,550 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,850
• Scans and lab work: $1,250
• Transport to Granada University Hospital: $550
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $460
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,440
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
