An English writing tutor for Rafael, 12, who's falling behind
Rafael is working hard on English writing but can't afford a tutor; 2 hours a week until the national would help enormously.

My nephew, Rafael, is 12 and in Grade 11. Rafael loves school but English writing has been a struggle since the school was closed during the pandemic. The national exam is in November.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in Iloilo City or online, for about twenty weeks.
Rafael is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in English writing, you could change the course of Rafael's year.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
