An English writing tutor for Gianna, 15, who's falling behind
Looking for a patient English writing tutor, 2 hours a week, for 20 weeks.
🇬🇧 London, England, United Kingdom1,792 views
My younger sister, Gianna, is 15 and in Year 10. Gianna loves school but English writing has been a struggle since the school was closed during the strikes. The university entrance exam is in March.
We can't afford a private tutor, and the school's free sessions are full. We're looking for a volunteer who could spend one or two hours a week, in person in London or online, for about sixteen weeks.
Gianna is polite, hardworking and eager. We have a quiet space and a laptop for online sessions. I'll always be at home for in-person sessions.
If you're a teacher, student or professional who feels comfortable in English writing, you could change the course of Gianna's year.

As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Wish I lived closer to Auckland so I could bring a meal.
Best of luck. I hope things turn around soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
praying for you, David. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Blessings.
